The Aviara Golf Course is located north of San Diego overlooking the Batquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad. Both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine have named this Arnold Palmer designed course one of the best resort courses in America. Framed by abundant native wildflowers, the challenging layout winds through rolling valleys and offers views of the Pacific Ocean. The course includes a driving range and an oversized practice putting green.
The Aviara is the only golf course in San Diego designed by Arnold Palmer. This 18-hole championship, 7,007-yard (6407 metres), par 72 layout was built around the natural topography of valleys and a lagoon.
